OHBA announces the 2017 Awards of Distinction winners!

The Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) announced the 2017 Awards of Distinction winners at its annual conference at Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.
For the second consecutive year, Tridel walked away with the prestigious 2017 Ontario Home Builder of the Year award.
“Based in Toronto, Tridel demonstrated excellence not only in building design and customer service, but also in their commitment to innovative, sustainable building,” says a release from the OHBA. “Tridel has played a leadership role through provincial stakeholder engagement and piloting various initiatives to push the envelope in resilient buildings, such as SMART technology and Net-Zero Energy dwelling.”

Project of the Year- Low-Rise (Model homes must be open to the public)
Doug Tarry Homes for: HOPE - St. Thomas
Project of the Year - High or Mid-Rise (Must be 50% pre-sold)
Spallacci Homes for: 101 LOCKE - Hamilton
OHBA People’s Choice Award
Losani Homes for: Central Park - Hamilton
OHBA Ontario Renovator of the Year
Eurodale Developments - Toronto
The Metalworks by Fusion Homes
“Both Ontario Builder and Renovator of the Year Awards are presented to companies that demonstrate outstanding professionalism and integrity within their business, industry and community,” explains the release.
Fusion Homes was another big winner with four awards, including Best Design/Decor Centre, Best High- or Mid-Rise Project Sales Brochure (4+ storeys), Most Outstanding Production Built home (2-storeys, 2,501 square feet and over), and Best Project Logo Branding (for individual community logo).
