OHBA Announces 2014 Awards of Distinction Finalists

It’s that time of year again - the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) has announced the finalists of the 2014 Awards of Distinction! There are 39 categories, measuring building quality, design, sales, and marketing. Builders across the province submitted entries, and the finalists were carefully chosen based on a variety of factors.

The most coveted award of the OHBA Awards of Distinction is Ontario Home Builder of the Year. This year, the finalists are:

"The Awards of Distinction program is an opportunity to pay tribute and honour the creativity, innovation and talent of builders, renovators, designers and marketers within the new home building and renovation industry," said OHBA President Eric DenOuden. "The building industry is a major driving force in our province's economy and the Awards of Distinction celebrates this dynamic sector."

This is also the first year that the OHBA will have a People’s Choice Award. You can vote for your favourite builders anytime between August 8 and August 19. The finalists for the People’s Choice Award are the six finalists from the best projects of the year categories for low-rise and high-rise to mid-rise.
