The latest report from Trimart Research Corporation states that October will be one of the busiest months of the year for new low-rise openings and releases across the Total Market Area (TMA).
As expected, Brampton remains the city with the most new low-rise sales this year with 3,469 so far. Milton is still in second with 1,059 sales. Just a week ago, Oakville was in third, but Whitby has bumped up into third with 744 sales so far this year.
Listed below are notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Whitby Central by Brookfield
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Whitby Central by Brookfield Residential. With 45 sales last month, Whitby Central is one of the reasons the city moved up in the rankings. The community features 37’ detached homes ranging from 2,380 to 2,500 square feet. Prices start from $899,990.
Brockton Trails by CedarOak Homes
Coming in second is Brockton Trails, a new home community in Pickering by CedarOak Homes. The community sold out during opening month with 37 sales! Brockton Trails featured 38’ and 39’ detached homes ranging from 2,630 to 3,682 square feet. Trimart has stated repeatedly that Pickering will be a popular location for new low-rise sales this year.
Trafalgar Landing by Great Gulf
The third spot is taken by Trafalgar Landing, a Great Gulf community in Oakville that saw 26 sales last month. The community features urban townhomes ranging from 470 to 1,255 square feet with prices starting at $214,990. This is a great opportunity for first-time buyers that don’t want to live in a high-rise condo unit downtown Toronto.
Cleave View by Aspen Ridge Homes
Coming in fourth with 22 sales last month is Cleave View Estates by Aspen Ridge Homes. This popular Brampton community features 38’, 47’, and 52’ detached homes ranging from 2,314 to 4,420 square feet. Prices start from $931,990 and range to over $1.2 million. Cleave View Estates has been a hot ticket item since it launched last summer.
The Estates of King Township by Mattamy Homes
The final position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by The Estates of King Township, a King City community by Mattamy Homes that saw 21 sales last month. The community featured 50’ and 65’ detached homes ranging from 3,655 to 6,125 square feet. Due to a successful summer, The Estates of King Township is now sold out!
