Located on the southwest corner of Leslie Street and St. John’s Sideroad, Aurora Trails will feature the perfect mix of natural surroundings and modern family amenities. An incredible 40% of the community will be set aside for “natural heritage areas,” including public parkland, woodlands, environmental protection areas, creeks, stormwater management ponds, and linked green spaces. OPUS ModelAurora Trails’ name was inspired by the 15.8 km trail system, which is perfect for hiking, jogging, cycling, and even cross-country skiing. The winding trail system makes outdoor activities possible year-round!Another interesting natural feature of the Aurora Trails community is the Butternut plantation. Butternut trees are endangered, and with the help of this new plantation, they won’t be. The trees produce nutritious nuts that are an extremely important food source for birds, squirrels, and other small mammals. Paradise ModelThere is also a major two-hectare community park planned for Aurora Trails, which will feature open fields, play courts, a splash pad, playgrounds, a gazebo, and more!Of course, there is a great selection of schools from which to choose, including elementary and high schools, so Aurora Trails is the perfect community to set firm family roots. If you want to be amongst the first to learn more about Aurora Trails by Arista, Fieldgate, OPUS, and Paradise, then register here.
