New low-rise sales are hot in Brampton, Milton and Barrie

The latest report from Trimart Research Corporation lists the top five cities with the most new low-rise sales in the Total Market Area (TMA). After the busy fall season that had nearly 30 new openings and releases, the top five cities saw a considerable amount of new low-rise sales.
Of course, Brampton still holds the top position with 3,620 new low-rise sales so far this year. Milton is in second with 1,078 sales, and Barrie is in third with 951. Pickering and Oakville are pretty close with 791 and 789 sales, respectively.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Seaton Taunton by Mattamy Homes
Taking the top position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Seaton Taunton by Mattamy Homes. This Pickering community saw 64 sales during the opening weekends. Seaton Taunton features village homes, rear lane townhomes, two-storey townhomes, and 30’ and 36’ detached homes, ranging from 1,146 to 2,758 square feet. Stay tuned for a new release!
Minto Longbranch 2
Following closely in second is Minto Longbranch 2, an urban townhome community in Toronto. Minto saw 52 sales during opening weekends at Longbranch 2. The urban townhomes range from 547 to 1,357 square feet with prices starting at $379,990.
The third spot is taken by Nido, a high end Thornhill community by Senator Homes. During the opening month, there were 37 sales at Nido. The community features 25’ two- and three-storey detached homes ranging from 2,500 to 3,500 square feet. Prices start at approximately $1.4 million.
Summerlyn Village by Great Gulf
Coming in fourth with 24 sales last month is Summerlyn Village, a new home community in Bradford by Great Gulf. Thanks to a successful fall season, the 36’ detached homes are now sold out. There are 40’ detached homes, ranging from 2,225 to 3,270 square feet, with prices starting at $850,000.
Seven Oaks by Fernbrook Homes
The final position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by Seven Oaks, a new home community in Oakville by Fernbrook Homes. Last month, there were 10 sales at Seven Oaks. The community features townhomes, 38’ and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 2,129 to 3,791 square feet, with prices starting at $769,990.
