New low-rise releases are selling out over the weekend
By Lucas on Oct 18, 2016
As predicted, September and October have proven to be very strong months for the new low-rise market, says Trimart Research Corporation. With many new low-rise releases and openings, there was a lot of welcomed inventory hitting the market - though it seems like there still isn’t enough.
New phases of residential are selling out in a single day or over a weekend. Even condo developments are nearly selling out. At the beginning of October, HIP Developments launched Riverbank Lofts in Cambridge and over 80% sold at a single event! According to HIP, 50% sold in the first hour of opening.
There were a few openings last weekend, and we won’t be surprised if we hear that they are sold out or nearly sold out now.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Kleinburg Summit by Mattamy Homes
Taking the top position on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list with a demanding lead is Kleinburg Summit, a new home community in Kleinburg by Mattamy Homes. During opening month, there were 101 sales at the community. Kleinburg Summit features 30’, 40’, and 50’ detached homes ranging from 1,765 to 4,792 square feet with prices starting at $914,990 and reaching nearly $1.5 million. Kleinburg is growing quickly, but the area has maintained its village atmosphere.
Trafalgar Landing by Great Gulf
Placing second with 60 sales last month is Trafalgar Landing, a new home community in Oakville by Great Gulf. Trafalgar Landing features urban townhomes ranging from 470 to 1,255 square feet and there is a new release coming soon!
Blue Sky by Fieldgate Homes
The third spot is taken by Blue Sky, a very successful and highly sought after community in Stouffville by Fieldgate Homes. Last month, there were 25 sales ay Blue Sky, selling out of the new release in just one weekend.
