New low-rise openings will support strong demand in first quarter of 2016

According to Trimart Research Corporation, the high number of new low-rise openings will stimulate the first quarter of 2016, providing home options to a marketplace of eager prospective purchasers. Obviously, the demand for new low-rise homes hasn’t waned since last year, so everyone has a close eye on the numerous openings scheduled for this spring.
One new master-planned community that Trimart says to watch out for is Belle Aire Shores, an Innisfil community by Fernbrook Homes, Pristine Homes, and Zancor Homes. This is Innisfil’s most highly anticipated new community, thanks to the builders involved and the location minutes from Lake Simcoe.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Mount Pleasant North by Mattamy Homes
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is no stranger to the number one position; Mount Pleasant North/Village by Mattamy Homes once again finds itself on top with 60 sales last month. The popular Brampton community features 30’, 38’, and 45’ detached homes, ranging from 1,434 to 3,411 square feet, with prices starting as low as $509,990.
Westfield by Great Gulf
Coming in second is another Brampton community, Westfield by Great Gulf. This low-rise site saw 12 sales last month. Westfield features luxurious 20’ townhomes ranging from 2,100 to 2,465 square feet. Prices start at $522,990.
Queensville by Aspen Ridge Homes
Taking the third spot is Queensville, an Aspen Ridge Homes community in East Gwillimbury. The community features 23’ and 25’ townhomes, as well as 36’ detached homes, ranging from 1,413 to 2,515 square feet, and prices are starting from $550,990. At the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015, it was predicted that East Gwillimbury would be a booming area for new low-rise communities, and the predictions were right. There were 1,215 sales in East Gwillimbury last year, the fifth most out of all of the Total Market Area.
Pineview Greens by Royalpark
The fourth spot is taken by Pineview Greens, a Barrie community by Royalpark Homes that saw seven sales last month. The community features 34’ and 42’ detached homes ranging from 960 to 3,215 square feet, with prices starting at $419,990. Royalpark Homes is also offering a great purchasing incentive giving you up to $20,000 in free décor dollars!
Clairity by Reid's Heritage Homes
The final spot on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is taken by Clairity, a Guelph project by Reid’s Heritage Homes. Clairity features urban townhomes ranging from 495 to 944 square feet, with prices starting at $208,900. We wouldn’t be surprised if Reid’s Heritage Homes is seeing a lot of first-time buyers expressing interest thanks to this low starting price.
