New detached homes coming to Impressions in Kleinburg!
By Lucas on Apr 11, 2017
This spring, Arista Homes, Fieldgate Homes, and Paradise Developments are releasing a new collection of detached homes at Impressions in Kleinburg.
The release is comprised of 38’ and 44’ detached homes with four- and five-bedroom plans. A few of the high end features and finishes include main floor hardwood flooring, oak staircases, granite countertops, and 9’ main floor ceilings.
Earlier this year in February, there was a successful opening at Impressions. According to Fieldgate’s blog, the parking lot started filling up hours before the 11 am opening. They ended up selling out over the course of the weekend! February’s not even a typically busy time of the year for home sales.
It’s not surprising that people are scrambling to detached home openings. According to the Building Industry and Land Development Association’s (BILD) latest report, there were only 324 new detached homes available across the entire Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as of the end of February 2017.
“The demand for single detached housing has been strong in Kleinburg since we first launched Impressions,” says Jim Andrews, Director of Sales & Marketing, Fieldgate Homes. “With resale listings low and constrained land, there’s a shortage of spacious family homes, so we’re excited to bring some much needed supply to market this spring.”
A decade ago, there were 500 different sites and more than 17,000 new low-rise homes on the market, says Patricia Arsenault, Altus Group’s Executive Vice President of Research Consulting Services. Today, there’s around 1,000 new low-rise homes available in the GTA.
As Andrews mentioned, the demand for detached living has always been strong in Kleinburg. The area is known for its village-like vibe, its breathtaking natural landscape, and the high quality housing being built.
“Families in Kleinburg get to experience annual festivals, markets, and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection is a popular tourist attraction; they always have interesting exhibits, so Kleinburg is ideal for art lovers. Both Copper Creek Golf Club and the Kortright Centre for Conservation are minutes away, the community is great for golf and other outdoor activities,” Andrews says.
Located near Major Mackenzie Drive West and Highway 27, Impressions is surrounded by a wealth of convenient amenities, including golf courses, banks, grocery stores, schools, and shops. Impressions also has its own 70 acres of greenspace (parks and ponds), and there are two proposed schools within the community.
