New detached homes coming to Cobblestones South in West Brampton!

If you’re in search of a new home in West Brampton, then look no further - Fieldgate Homes is releasing a new collection of detached homes at Cobblestones South this month!

Last spring, Fieldgate released a limited collection of 36’ detached homes, and there was a good response! Families of all sizes attended the openings and there were around 70 sales. We haven’t heard how many lots Fieldgate will be releasing this month, but we’re sure the turnout will be big!

Fieldgate recently teased a couple new models via email; the Woodview and the Ridgehill. Both are 36’ detached homes, more than 2,000 square feet with four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and two-car garages. On the official Cobblestones South page, there are a couple more new models, the Camden and Wexford. They are similar in size and style to the two others.

There are also other models, ranging up to 3,400 square feet with six bedrooms! Clearly Cobblestones South is ideal for large and growing families.

Recently, the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) announced that the new home supply in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) hit a record low. As of the end of July 2017, there were only 1,713 new low-rise homes on the market, and not much was released in August.

In BILD’s report, they reminded everyone that summer is typically slow for the new home industry and real estate in general and said to expect a surge in inventory this fall. Fieldgate’s Cobblestones South release seems like the beginning of a busy fall season!

Living in West Brampton

Cobblestones South is located near Steeles Avenue West and James Potter Road, surrounded by many convenient neighbourhood amenities.

There is a school and park nearby, as well as plenty of shopping and dining. Of course, you’ll want to make good use of your gourmet kitchen, so it’s helpful that there’s a grocery store just a few minutes away.

And as the Fieldgate Blog points out, the Brampton Downtown Farmers’ Market is a short drive away, so you can shop organically and locally every Saturday morning (until October).

Getting around town without a car is a breeze thanks to nearby bus stations, and if you’re travelling around the GTA, Highway 407 is a quick drive away.
