New detached homes coming to Blue Sky in Stouffville this month!

Looking for a new home in Stouffville?, Fieldgate Homes is releasing a new collection of detached homes at Blue Sky this month!
In the summer, Fieldgate released a limited collection of detached homes at Blue Sky with a great response! We had the pleasure of attending the opening and we noticed that there were many parents with their children in attendance. Clearly, Blue Sky is an incredible opportunity for growing families to move up into a larger home.
Registrants recently received a sneak peek of one of the new models, the Highlands. It’s a 2,360 square foot model with four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage. The Blue Sky page has an extensive list of the traditionally styled brick homes.
The homes range up to more than 3,000 square feet with layouts from three- to five-bedroom. The majority of the plans are four-bedroom, and even the three-bedroom floor plans have the option of adding another bedroom.
It seems like buyers are eager for this new supply to hit the market. The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) recently announced that the new home supply in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) hit a record low. At the end of July 2017, there were only 1,713 new low-rise homes on the market. Only about 100 new homes came to market in July and August was pretty slow (still waiting on numbers from Altus Group for last month).
The summer is usually slow for the new home industry and things always pick up in the fall. Fieldgate also has a new release of detached homes coming soon at Cobblestones South in West Brampton. These two releases in September will bring welcomed inventory to the new home market!
Buying a new home in Stouffville
Blue Sky is located at 9th Line and Millard, just minutes from all the convenient amenities along Main Street. Shops and cafes line the streets, there are many restaurants for either a sit-down dinner with your family or a quick bite, and to the west of 9th Line there’s a Metro!
There are also many schools and parks within a few minutes of Blue Sky. Your children will love the facilities at Stouffville Arena, which is within walking distance of the community. The arena features two double ice pads that are available for booking and family free skate.
If you work downtown Toronto or in any other part of the GTA, then you’ll appreciate living so close to the Stouffville GO Station. You can leave the car behind and get downtown to Union Station in about half an hour. Getting around Stouffville is also easy, and you usually don’t need to venture too far from Main Street.
