New 50’ detached homes coming soon at Solterra in South Guelph!
By Lucas on Apr 06, 2016
One of South Guelph’s most prestigious new low-rise communities is Solterra by Fusion Homes, and the highly anticipated new release is opening on Saturday, April 16th!
On opening day, Fusion Homes will be unveiling a brand new collection of 50’ detached models; there will be only 12 in total! A new designer decorated model home will also be opening, which you can tour before or after purchasing one of the new homes. The new model features the Belvoir model, which is one of the 12 new designs.
In the previous phase at Solterra, Fusion Homes released a series of executive townhomes, semis, as well as 30’ and 40’ detached homes; there were 37 homes in total. Every one of those 37 homes were reserved in the first two hours of opening. Just to put that into perspective, that’s nearly five homes every 15 minutes!
Families looking for a new home in Guelph are eagerly awaiting this new release because of Fusion Homes’ amazing reputation in the area, plus this collection of 50’ detached homes will be the largest lots and homes released at Solterra, so far. As South Guelph continues to develop into a vibrant, mixed-use, family-friendly area, communities as good as Solterra will continue to be highly successful!
Raising a family in South Guelph
Located at Victoria Road South and Macalister Boulevard, between Arkell Road and Stone Road East, Solterra is a great community in which to set deep roots and raise a family.
One of the most important amenities for a family looking to invest years of their lives in a neighbourhood is the proximity to nearby elementary and secondary schools. Living at Solterra, there are many top rated schools nearby, including Sir Isaac Brock Public School, Westminster Woods Public School, and St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School. Also, the University of Guelph campus is only five minutes away by car and under 20 minutes by transit.
When it comes to keeping your open-concept kitchen fully stocked, you don’t have to travel far. A few nearby grocery stores include No Frills, Rowe Farms, Metro, and Zehrs Markets. Of course, you’ll want to treat your family to a night out for dinner every now and then, so it’s a good thing that downtown Guelph is just eight minutes away by car. Whether you’re craving pub fare, Japanese, French cuisine - there’s even a raw food restaurant - you’re only a short drive away.
If you’re the outdoorsy type and your children are too, then you will appreciate living so close to The Arboretum at the University of Guelph. The Arboretum offers more than 400 acres of natural beauty and wildlife. You can either explore the grounds on your own or participate in any of the adult and children programs, covering arts, botanical topics, and gardening. The Arboretum is also the most popular venue in Guelph for weddings, conferences, celebrations, and any other large event.
