New 36’ detached homes coming soon to Cobblestones in South Brampton

With news that home sales activity is on the rebound this year, it’s not surprising to see that Fieldgate Homes is riding the wave, following up their recent success at Blue Sky in Stouffville with a highly anticipated release at Cobblestones in South Brampton. 

At the beginning of June, Fieldgate opened Blue Sky to a huge crowd of people. The doors opened on Saturday and the detached homes were sold out by Sunday. Just a week before that, Fieldgate’s luxury semi-detached homes at Park Vista in Whitby sold out in a single day. And earlier in the year, New Kleinburg opened, and it was wild. Hundreds of people showed up. 

Through 2018, we didn’t really see that many new home openings in the Greater Toronto Area with huge line-ups days before the sales centre doors opened. There were definitely some well attended openings, but not at a rate that Fieldgate is experiencing this year. 

It’s not just Fieldgate experiencing a surge in new home sales. In April 2019, new home sales increased 123% year-over-year, according to Altus Group and the Building Industry and Land Development Association. 

In 2018, the GTA didn’t see an uptick in activity in spring like it normally does. This year is a different story though. Buyer confidence is renewed, people are eager to invest in new construction, and we’re seeing crazy line-ups.

Which brings us to the Cobblestones opening. On June 15th, Fieldgate will open the sales centre doors at 11 am. The new release features 36’ detached homes ranging up to 3,400 square feet with 700 square foot lower levels and loft living spaces. There is a selection of different layouts with four-, five-, and six-bedroom plans. 

The homes feature ceramic tile flooring, 9’ ceilings on the main level, upgraded furniture finish cabinetry, engineered flooring, and electric fireplaces. 

Register for Cobblestones in South Brampton

Given the turnout at Fieldgate’s other openings this year, we wouldn’t be surprised if Cobblestones ended up being another weekend sell out. Fieldgate is, after all, known for their incredible Valleylands and Upper Valleylands communities in West Brampton, and Cobblestones is nearby.
