Burlington’s condo scene is going through a design renaissance and it’s all thanks to Adi Development Group. Their now completed Mod’rn is a boutique condo that nearly sold out in the first few hours of opening. The now under construction LINK features condo units, townhomes, and lofts, and it has a been a huge hit with its location next to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Now, Adi Development Group is entering the high-rise game down on Burlington’s waterfront with Nautique at Martha Street and Lakeshore Road.
“Burlington has one of the most beautiful downtowns across the GTA. There’s never been a better time to introduce a landmark like Nautique to this luxurious location,” says Tariq Adi, CEO of Adi Development Group. “Nautique is an icon, a symbol for change. It’s a landmark that will impact the way that people think about this city.”
Designed by RAW Design, the glass tower will feature a facade of translucent glass that will reflect the blue of the water and sky. The five storey podium will house double height retail space, adding even more options to the already highly walkable downtown Burlington neighbourhood. “Nautique will be an inspiring addition to the skyline,” says Roland Rom Colthoff, Principal of RAW. “Its contemporary design looks forward to the future of downtown Burlington.”
The interior will be embellished with a sophisticated white palette, featuring natural marble and brushed metal finishes. “Adi is bringing an entirely new design perspective to this city. This design will stand on its own merits. It can compete on a global platform,” says Anna Simone, founding partner of Cecconi Simone.
“As soon as you step inside of Nautique, you can tell that something different is happening here,” adds Saud Adi, COO of Adi Development Group. “We wanted to deliver a new type of home for the design-conscious buyer, offering the best amenities, the best views, and the best location in the city. The feedback for this project has been astonishing.”
Nautique will be comprised of 170 units ranging from 452 to 1,316 square feet with prices starting in the high $200,000s. The floor plans range from one-bedroom to two+den and offer incredible features and finishes, such as floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive terraces, custom kitchens with spacious islands, and premium designer cabinetry.
In addition to the abundance of shops, restaurants, green space, and a variety of services that downtown Burlington has to offer, residents of Nautique will have exclusive access to a wide array of amenities. The Sky Lounge will be the city’s highest vantage point and offer 360 degree views of Burlington, the stunning waterfront, and Lake Ontario.
Other amenities at Nautique include a sleek bar, a fireside lounge, and a cozy library. The private Lakeside Club will have lounge areas that overlook the waterfront and will feature flexible walls that can collapse to create an open air retreat. The fitness centre will offer state-of-the-art equipment and an outdoor/indoor yoga deck, as well as an outdoor pool. The large outdoor terrace will have barbecue stations and fire pits. Adi Development Group really went the extra mile to ensure that residents have easy access to outdoor areas. Having the condo open up to the waterfront just makes sense and it will be unlike anything that’s ever been built in Burlington.
“We’re excited not only to bring Nautique to market, but to spearhead a project that will be a catalyst for Burlington, a city we live in, love, and are committed to its prosperous future,” says Tariq Adi.
Nautique will be opening this fall, so you should definitely register right now if you want to be the first to receive an invitation to a priority preview. The Adi Home Store will be located at 375 Brant St.
