Monarch Celebrates Grand Opening of Riva del Lago!

The day condo hunters were all waiting for has come and gone! On April 12, Monarch celebrated the grand opening of Riva del Lago, their mid-size boutique offering along Etobicoke’s waterfront.

Since 2001, Monarch has been developing south of Lake Shore Boulevard in Etobicoke. It all started with Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, then Explorer, Nautilus, Waterscapes, and Lago - all of which are high-rises. That’s why everyone is so excited about Riva. When completed, Riva will stand just 14 storeys and offer unobstructed views of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto’s skyline.

There are only 149 units at Riva, with a number of layouts available from one-bedrooms to two-bedroom+dens. The units range from 555 to 1,465 square feet.

A few of the impressive interior features and finishes include 9’ and 10’ ceilings, porcelain and ceramic tile, high quality wide plank laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops in the gourmet kitchens, and custom designed contemporary cabinetry.

At the end of March, Monarch hosted a preview opening, and there was a pretty good turnout. We’d say there was just as many, if not more people at the grand opening. We recognized a few faces as well, so some people were back for a second look.
