Three Model Suites at Daniels’ NY2 in Toronto!

We recently had the opportunity to meet up with Dominic Tompa, Broker of Record at City Life Realty, at Daniels’ NY2 condo development in Toronto. The special occasion? Daniels just opened three model suites at NY2!
The three floorplans featured at NY2 are The Carlyle, The Tribeca, and The Greenwich. The Carlyle is a spacious 525 square foot, one-bedroom+media layout.
The Tribeca is a one-bedroom, 506 square foot suite with oversized windows in the bedroom. It’s a well known fact that natural light is a mood enhancer, so you’ll be waking up on the right side of the bed every morning in The Tribeca.
You saw a fantastic example of the white cabinetry in The Carlyle. When you visit The Greenwich, a one-bedroom, 479 square foot suite, you’ll see what the kitchen looks like with the darker cabinetry. Which one do you like more?
What will stand out the most when you visit the three models is how cleverly the floorplans are laid out. Every square foot of space is usable. Take a close look at the kitchens; you’ll notice that the fridges are more narrow than average, but they’re also taller, taking up less wall space.
How many units are remaining at NY2?
According to Tompa, there are only 12 suites available at NY2. Most of them are one-bedrooms, but there are three two-bedroom suites remaining. The three two-bedrooms are all over 800 square feet and range in price from about $440,000 to $480,000, while the one-bedrooms range from $260,000s to the $280,000s.
NY2 is another one of Daniels’ developments that features the Rent-to-Own program. Last weekend was the first Rent-to-Own seminar since they launched NY2, and over 60 prospective homebuyers were in attendance to learn more about how they can take advantage of the program.
“The hardest part of getting in the door is the down payment. When people do the math on how much they can afford to pay monthly, most people can afford the mortgage,” explained Tompa. About 20% of the buyers at NY Place purchased with the Rent-to-Own program, and Daniels has seen the same result at NY2.
