The Big Merger at BolDe Imaging Group
By Lucas on Jul 18, 2013
Back in April, the Newinhomes.com team headed out to Brampton to visit BolDe Imaging Group, a signage printing company, as part of our blog’s “Services & Suppliers Month.” We discussed how BolDe services the home building industry, their scope of work, and the everyday activities of the company.
Recently, BolDe made a big announcement. They have merged with two other industry giants, Sheriff Signs and Pawluk Sign Company. So, when we heard the good news, we decided to arrange another trip to BolDe’s shop to meet the new partners and check out all the new equipment.
The new BolDe Imaging Group
When we first visited BolDe in April, the partners included Lucio DeClavasio and George Berbilis. Now, BolDe has three new partners: Joe and Mo Husami from Sheriff Signs, and Ed “Butch” Pawluk from Pawluk Sign Company.
Between the current partners of BolDe, they now have over a century of signage experience to offer the new home industry. Lucio explained, “We love working with builders, it’s what we do, and now that we’re one large company, we are also branching out into the commercial and retail industries.”
We had an opportunity to chat with Joe about the many services that BolDe now offers and does completely in-house. Of course, the company still specializes in board signs (hoarding), field signs, flag poles, interiors of sales centres, large-scale banners, and A-frames. Joe explained that BolDe can also do channel lettering, LED displays, 3D cutout logos, illuminated pylons, canopies, and backlit boxes.
Joe also showed us one of the many machines that was brought over from Sheriff Signs. The machine is called a CNC Router. It is a large, computer controlled, shape cutter that can be used on a variety of materials, including wood, plastics, and even aluminium and steel.
BolDe’s work with homebuilders
With this merger, BolDe’s presence within the homebuilding industry has never been stronger. If you’re a frequent reader of our blog or are even slightly interested in the Greater Toronto Area real estate scene, you’ll probably recognize a few of BolDe’s current clients: Pinnacle International, Aspen Ridge, Daniels, Pemberton, Arista, Fieldgate, Greenpark, Mattamy, Townwood, Starlane, Treasure Hill, Madison, Forest Hill, Caliber, and Mosaik - just to name a few.
Some clients that are not homebuilders include Unilever, DMG Advertising, and Fieldgate Commercial.
The future of BolDe
The merger of BolDe, Sheriff, and Pawluk will make a dramatic impact on the homebuilding industry. BolDe is now a true one-stop shop for all imaging needs, so homebuilders can avoid the confusion of having all the separate components of their marketing campaigns created in different locations by different people. Builders and any other companies always have one specific vision for their marketing campaigns, and now it’s possible to have one specific printer and installer bring it all to life.
We would like to thank the good folks at BolDe Imaging Group for having us out again. We look forward to admiring their work for many years to come.
