Meet the best builders in Ontario – Watch Tarion’s video of the 2016 Homeowners’ Choice Awards!

Tarion regulates new home builders in Ontario and helps administer the new home warranties in the province. Every year Tarion conducts a survey for new home owners to vote on the best builders. The finalists and recipients were recently announced at the annual Homeowners’ Choice Awards luncheon and Tarion has just released a video with highlights from the event and interviews with the award recipients. “Today’s best companies know that positive reviews by real customers are an important key to success. The Homeowners’ Choice Awards, presented by Tarion, demonstrate that when it comes to defining success in the province’s residential building industry the voice of the homeowner matters,” says Tarion President and CEO Howard Bogach. “Being attentive, responsive and listening to home buyers is what makes these builders rise above their peers.”
The Daniels CorporationThe recipients of the Homeowners’ Choice Awards were determined by a comprehensive survey sent out to more than 56,000 homeowners who took possession between October 1, 2014 and September 30, 2015. The survey covered every stage of the new home buying process to determine the homeowners’ overall satisfaction with their builder. About 12,000 surveys were completed and Crunch Research and Nielsen tabulated the results.

Since the Homeowners’ Choice Awards are the only industry awards in Ontario that are fully determined by actual homeowner satisfaction, that makes them the most trustworthy accolade that a builder can achieve.
