Nargues and Maryam Mansouri
On Feb. 12, Mansouri Living hosted a Pre-Valentine’s Day Soirée at The Perry presentation centre in Toronto in support of Rethink Breast Cancer.
We caught up with the elegantly dressed Maryam Mansouri to learn more about what the night was all about: “Tonight, we're celebrating an early Valentines; husbands and bachelors created these beautiful bouquets, which will be auctioned off in support of Rethink Breast Cancer.”
Four bachelors and four husbands, all involved in the real estate and design industries, created these stunning floral arrangements. While people circulated, mingled, nibbled on delicious hors d’oeuvres by Anthony Rose of Rose & Son, and gradually outbid each other for the bouquets, other items were also available in the silent auction!
A few of the other great items included in the auction were two courtside tickets to a Raptors game, Shay Lowe Jewellery, dinner for four at the Four Seasons Hotel, and even a boudoir photography session with Anthony Parazo.
Everyone was looking fine, flowers filled the room (even the bathtub in the washroom was full of rose petals!), drinks were being poured, and money was raised for a great cause! By the end of the night, The Perry had raised $12,000 for Rethink Breast Cancer. Congratulations to the Mansouri sisters and Rethink on a successful evening of love and charity.
About Rethink Breast Cancer
Rethink Breast Cancer is an organization focused on ushering in the new generation of breast cancer awareness supporters. Targeting the under-40 crowd, Rethink is waving goodbye to fear-based campaigns and blanket support programs. They are the “young women’s breast cancer movement.”
Availability at The Perry
The Perry is over 60% sold, and the recently launched Estate Collection is still making waves. The very top penthouse on the 11th floor has sold, and the 9th and 10th floors each feature two units, which are all still available.
