Low-Rise Summer Heat to Continue Through Autumn

Trimart Research Corporation’s recent release credits the warm weather and large number of new site openings for the new low-rise market’s summer success. In June alone, there were over 20 new site openings! With many new releases scheduled for late August and throughout September, Trimart predicts that the upward sales trend will continue steadily into autumn.
Listed below are a few notable site openings of the last month:
Renaissance Townes - via Primont Homes
Coming in first place on this week’s Trimart report is Renaissance Townes, a Woodbridge community by Primont Homes that saw 93 homes during its opening month. The community features a stunning collection of townhomes ranging from 1,639 to 2,351 square feet. Prices start from $569,990.
Downsview Park - via Mattamy Homes
The second spot is taken by Downsview Park, a joint community between Mattamy Homes and Urbancorp. Located in Toronto, the community achieved 49 sales in its opening month. The urban and rear lane townhomes range from 732 to 2,365 square feet, and prices start as low as $324,990.
Grand River Woods - via Fernbrook Homes
Placing third, with 34 sales in its opening month, is Grand River Woods by Fernbrook Homes and Crystal Homes. Located in Cambridge, the community features 30’, 35’, and 40’ detached homes, ranging from 1,420 to 3,160 square feet. Prices can be found as low as $369,990.
ALIVE - via Reid's Heritage Homes
Coming in fourth is ALIVE by Reid’s Heritage Homes, a Guelph community that saw 26 sales during its opening month. ALIVE features a selection of townhomes ranging from 1,276 to 1,974 square feet with prices starting from $349,990.
Thornhill North - via Remington Homes
Fifth place is taken by Thornhill North by Remington Homes, which had 13 sales in its opening month. At Thornhill North, Remington is building 40’, 45’, and 50’ detached homes ranging from 2,784 to 3,929 square feet, with prices starting at just over $1 million.
