Low-Rise Sites Seeing High Traffic Throughout October
By Lucas on Oct 27, 2014
As the weeks pass and the industry hits the midpoint of fall, the Trimart Research Corporation is predicting that October sales numbers for new low-rise homes will be very close to September’s high figures. There have been many new site openings and new releases over the last two months and site traffic has been strong. For the second consecutive Trimart report, townhomes have been top sellers across the regions. Prospective homebuyers are still in homebuying mode, so you can expect a lot of traffic, particularly in Brampton, Oakville, and Richmond Hill.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Mount Pleasant North - via Mattamy Homes
If you are a frequenter of the Newinhomes.com Blog, then you’re probably aware that Mattamy Homes is no stranger to the top of the weekly Trimart reports. This week, not only did Mattamy snag the top position, but they came in second as well! Placing first is Mount Pleasant North/Village in Brampton, where Mattamy saw 63 sales last month. The community features village homes, three-storey townhomes, and 30’ and 38’ detached homes. The floorplans range from 612 to 2,808 square feet and prices start as low as $202,990.
The Preserve - via Mattamy Homes
The second position is taken by Mattamy’s Oakville community, The Preserve, which achieved 37 sales last month. At this community, Mattamy is offering village homes, townhomes, rear lane towns, and 45’ and 50’ detached homes. The floorplans range from 1,036 to 4,242 square feet and prices start at $392,990.
Marina Towns - via fridayharbourresort.com
Coming in third this week with 34 sales is Friday Harbour by Geranium Homes. This Innisfil development is an all-season resort-style community, which has become quite popular this year with couples and families looking for a second home, as well as retirees looking for a place to downsize. Friday Harbour features a wide selection of urban townhomes, ranging from 433 to 1,766 square feet. Prices start at $229,900. If you’re looking for a home on the water, but still want to be within a close proximity to downtown Toronto, Friday Harbour is a great option!
Springvalley - via Royal Pine Homes
Placing fourth is Spring Valley, a Royal Pine community in Brampton that saw 13 sales last month. This community features an extensive collection of semis and 38’, 40’, and 50’ detached homes ranging from 1,615 to 4,560 square feet. Prices start as low as $413,900. This is the second Brampton community on this week’s Trimart report, which is quite common these days since Brampton has so much new development underway.
Kettle Lakes Club - via Aspen Ridge Homes
The fifth spot is snagged by Kettle Lakes Club on Bayview, an Aspen Ridge Homes community in Richmond Hill. There were 11 sales at the community recently because Aspen Ridge opened four new, beautiful model homes. Kettle Lakes Club features modern townhomes on 20’ and 25’ lots, ranging from 1,717 to 2,744 square feet, with prices starting at $577,990.
