Lotus Pointe Grand Opening in Caledon!
By Lucas on Oct 07, 2014
Last weekend, Fieldgate Homes, Greenpark, Rosehaven Homes, and Starlane opened the doors at Lotus Pointe in Caledon for the official grand opening!
This highly anticipated Caledon community has found itself at the top of a lot of homebuyers’ lists for a few different reasons. The first reason, the selection of homes is extensive, featuring townhomes, semis, and singles, and the price is right, starting in the mid $400,000s. Of course, all four builders have a reputation for delivering high quality product, and when they all team up together on a site as picturesque as this one, it’s bound to attract some attention.
Situated just off Hurontario, near Old School Road on the south end of Caledon, Lotus Pointe is in a unique location. Caledon is known for its scenic landscape and Lotus Pointe is one of the first large residential projects to launch in the area in some time. The best part about Lotus Pointe’s location is that it will preserve the tranquil natural surroundings of Caledon because it is located so close to the edge of Brampton, which as you know is one of the fastest growing cities (as far as low-rise residential goes) in Canada. In a sense, Lotus Pointe will be a continuation of Brampton’s booming low-rise scene, but still benefit from all that Caledon has to offer.
In our special feature on the VIP Opening of Lotus Pointe, we mentioned that Caledon offers an all-season lifestyle. That means that no matter what the weather is like, -30 degrees celsius or +30 degrees, there is an abundance of outdoor activities to take advantage of. Caledon Ski Club is a private hill, perfect for the skier in the family who hates waiting in chairlift lines, and there are many golf courses in the area. Caledon also has a number of equestrian schools and parks, and will host an equestrian competition for the upcoming 2015 Pan Am Games.
Caledon can also accommodate the family life, with a wide selection of schools within a close proximity to Lotus Pointe, ranging from public elementary and secondary to Catholic elementary and secondary.
