Local officials join Geranium to celebrate the grand opening of Courts of Canterbury

You can now buy a new home at Courts of Canterbury in Port Perry by Geranium! The recent ribbon cutting marked the official grand opening of the highly anticipated community.
Geranium’s Stephanie Lane, Brittany Griffith and Lisa Peltier were joined by Township of Scugog Mayor Bobbie Drew, Councillor Lance Brown and Councillor Janna Guido to celebrate the opening of the new adult-lifestyle community.
“We are experiencing a mini boom for development in the Township of Scugog and council and our staff are working with planning and development for the right type of development for Scugog. Development that understands our community and responds to the needs,” said Mayor Drew. “We are thankful for the work, consultation and thought that has gone into this development to plan for an ageing demographic with the addition of a seniors’ apartment alongside their beautiful homes, an enhanced trail system and greenspace.”
Phase 1 of Courts of Canterbury features 50’ detached homes on a tranquil cul-de-sac. All of the homes are detached bungalows, some of which have loft options. The homes range from 1,453 to 2,587 square feet, and prices start from $799,900.
Located near the shores of Lake Scugog, the community is surrounded by amenities you need on a daily basis, like shopping, dining, entertainment, recreational facilities, and arts and cultural venues.
