Lindvest announces Sonic, a new condo at Don Mills and Eglinton
By Lucas on Aug 13, 2015
Rolling off the great success of their mid-rise development, B.streets Condos in downtown Toronto, Lindvest has announced another Toronto condo project by the name of Sonic, which will be located at Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
The only info released so far is that Lindvest is collecting registrations for a fall preview opening, and judging by the rendering, there will be two towers and plenty of green space. We have also been informed that prices will be starting in the low $200,000s, which means it will be a great opportunity for first-time homebuyers.
"It's a fantastic location at a major city hub, that is poised for incredible growth. Steps away from the upcoming Metrolinx Eglinton Crosstown Station and next door to the DVP, it makes it an unbelievable opportunity to be well connected to the downtown core and all Toronto has to offer, minus the congestion,” says Joseph Alberga, Director of Sales & Marketing at Lindvest.
Alberga is absolutely correct in saying that Don Mills and Eglinton is “poised for incredible growth,” and it’s very well connected by public transit and major transportation arteries. There are also many neighbourhood amenities, providing the convenience you expect from condo living.
Let’s take a closer look at the area, shall we? The neighbourhood is actually pretty walkable, especially since there is a Loblaws/Real Canadian Superstore less than half a kilometre away! That’s right, you have found a condo outside of the downtown core that is within walking distance to a huge grocery store. That’s almost enough to sell someone already.
There is also a great amount of park space, in addition to the green space that will be included at Sonic. Sunnybrook Park is the largest green area in the neighbourhood, and it offers some beautiful trails to explore year round. The E.T. Seton Park is also nearby, neighbouring the Ontario Science Centre. Other recreational opportunities are offered at Flemingdon Park Golf Club, as well as the Dennis R. Timbrell Resource Centre, which offers daycare services and many late night sports programs.
Sonic will even be within a close proximity to some amazing shopping, with the Shops at Don Mills being just a few minutes to the north. Offering approximately 100 retailers, we’re pretty sure all your fashion needs will be met. The Shops at Don Mills also has many restaurants for your dining enjoyment, such as Kabuki Sushi Lounge, Linda Modern Thai, and Glow Fresh Grill & Wine Bar, which specializes in health-oriented cuisine.
