Kylemore hosts the 18th Annual Barbecue for the residents of Angus Glen

As you’re probably aware, we’re huge fans of builders giving back to their communities, whether it’s through charitable donations, sponsorships, or organizing community events. One builder that is absolutely no stranger to this is Kylemore Communities, who just hosted their 18th Annual Barbecue for the residents of the Angus Glen neighbourhood in Markham.
“This is an annual tradition for our residents and employees,” says Patrick O’Hanlon, president of Kylemore Communities. “Our promise to our new home buyers is that they can appreciate life in a Kylemore community. This free family-friendly event underscores our commitment to enhancing their lifestyle in many different ways.”
The barbecue kicked off with a parade led by the City of Markham’s firefighter department, which stretched to Colty Corner’s Park. The event was catered by Patrick K’s Catering, and families enjoyed live music and interacting with the interesting animals from Reptilia. There were giant inflatables for kids to play, and there was a balloon artist and face painters. Parents and couples tried their hand at the putting activity provided by Angus Glen Golf Club, and many businesses from the Shoppes of Angus Glen were there with information about their services.
After 18 years, Kylemore has made a huge impact on the Angus Glen neighbourhood. There are now approximately 1,200 stunning luxury residences comprising the vibrant streetscape, all of which benefit from the extra value added onto their homes thanks to the two neighbouring championship golf courses, amazing club house, and plenty of retail and commercial space.

Kylemore has gradually developed the Angus Glen community with strategic planning and exquisite collections of estate homes. At Parkside East, there are only four homes remaining, ranging from 2,085 to 2,830 square feet, with both three- and four-bedroom floor plans. There is also a boutique mid-rise condo nestled next to the golf course, The 6th Angus Glen, which is under construction and occupancy is scheduled for 2016.

In other exciting news, Kylemore recently announced that they are now collecting registrations for a brand new Markham community, Kennedy Manors: Towns on the Park. Not much info has been released yet, but we do know that the town manors will be starting in the $700,000s.
