Kylemore Hosts 17th Annual Angus Glen Barbecue

Recently, Kylemore Communities hosted their 17th Annual Barbecue for Angus Glen Community residents.

More than 1,300 people came out for the festivities, which kicked off with a children’s parade on the neighbourhood streets. Two Markham Fire Department trucks led the way, all the way to Colty Corner’s Park.

“Community events give people a good reason to get together,” said Kylemore’s President Patrick O’Hanlon. “That’s why we continue to offer this free, family-friendly barbecue each year. As our building program expands, annual attendance climbs, and the relationships between neighbours grows. It’s a part of Kylemore’s plan to continually promote a neighbourly environment within each of our communities.”

In addition to the delicious barbecue provided by Patrick K’s Catering, there was live music, a putting skills activity sponsored by Angus Glen Golf Club, and many other activities for the children, including balloon artists, face painters, and the bouncy castles and Reptilia’s snakes and reptiles were huge hits!
