Kylemore celebrates Angus Glen with their 21st annual community barbecue!

Kylemore Communities/Angus Glen Development recently hosted their 21st annual barbecue celebration for the purchasers and residents of the award-winning Angus Glen community in Markham.

In the humble beginnings of the annual community barbecue, around 200 people attended. This year, nearly 1,200 members of the community gathered to take part in the fun family-friendly event!

There were games, live music, a fire truck from Markham’s Fire Department, a delicious barbecue lunch, and of course, ice cream.

“I’ve attended all 21 of these celebrations and it really is one way our company says thank you to the families who place their trust in us to deliver on the promise of a luxurious home in an incredible community,” says Frank Spaziani, Vice-President. “The entire Kylemore team attends along with many members of the Stollery family, and it’s a great way to connect with our homeowners in a casual atmosphere.”

As far as we know, there is no other builder in the Greater Toronto Area that holds an annual community event like this. Kylemore has been so deeply involved in the development of this Markham neighbourhood over the last two decades – we just love to see builders going the extra mile to support the communities they help build.

In 2013, Angus Glen won the Places to Grow Community of the Year Award at the Building Industry and Land Development Association Awards. Then in 2014, the community won the Markham Design Excellence Award. Most recently, Angus Glen won the 2017 Heritage Markham Award of Excellence.
