King Country Estates "A dream come true"

When electrical contractor Mike Corvinelli first set eyes on the scenic area surrounding King Road and Highway 27 in Nobleton 25 years ago, he was smitten. He took his wife Carmelina, who works with him, to see the location, and she loved it too. "For years, our dream was to own a home there," Mike says. "We would often go looking on weekends to see what was available. When King Country Estates opened, we were thrilled."

Carmelina and Mike currently live in Maple with their two grown children, Alessandra and Giancarlo. They all appreciate the many benefits of living in Nobleton. "The location is nice and convenient," Mike says. "I drive a lot in my line of work, so having Highway 27 so close is handy, and Toronto is only half an hour away." The neighbourhood is also close to prestigious championship equestrian farms, championship golf courses, the Albion Hills Conservation Area, Kortright Centre, and the Nobleton Plaza.

In April, the Corvinellis purchased the Muskoka design, which is over 3,400 square feet, and they will move in early in the new year. "We actually intended to buy a bungalow," Mike explains, "but when we walked through Aspen Ridge's two-storey Muskoka model home, we fell in love with the layout – especially the kitchen, which is open to the large breakfast room and family room. As soon as we saw it, we both said wow. We love to entertain, and right now we use our dining room – but really, everyone congregates in the kitchen. This will be such a great space for entertaining."

Mike says that the family also likes the layout of the second floor of this four-bedroom home. "The master bedroom has an ensuite, another has its own bath, and the other two share a bathroom. It's great. And there are large windows throughout the home, so it's nice and bright." All of Aspen Ridge's homes are equipped with the ultimate in top-quality modern features and finishes, plus every home will be built to Energy Star standards for energy and cost savings, as well as a more comfortable living environment. Mike says that he and Carmelina enjoyed their colour selection appointment, and appreciated the help from the consultants.

"Being able to tour the Muskoka made it easier for us to visualize things," Mike says. "And everyone at Aspen Ridge has been attentive and helpful."
