Ironstone Condominiums under construction!

Construction is now underway for Ironstone Condominiums in Burlington, with shoring and 60% of the excavation completed. Looking to be the most eco-chic residences on the market, the development has been designed to integrate sophisticated condo amenities with green technology for stylishly sustainable living.
This project fits in with council’s long-term vision for Burlington, which includes creating sustainable, mixed-use and pedestrian friendly communities in sync with the area’s natural landscape. “Ironstone is forward thinking,” says Mayor Rick Goldring.
Located in uptown Burlington’s emerging urban core, Ironstone is also footsteps from restaurants, major shopping outlets and a brand new medical building and features new retail at ground level with convenient bike parking for local trips.
Green space is another focus, boasting a private 15,000-square foot outdoor courtyard and several lofts and condos that walk out onto landscaped terraces. Bringing a true urban oasis to Burlington’s uptown core, Ironstone’s spacious rooftop terrace features lounge pods, a built-in outdoor barbeque and fireplace, relaxed seating areas and a hot tub.
Residents can also rest easy knowing that the geothermal system, installed and operated by GeoXperts, will also be kind to their wallets. A financial advantage for condo-owners is that geothermal technology will keep monthly cost-of-living stable over a 20-30 year period and will not be vulnerable to volatile spikes in hydro, oil and gas prices.
Raising the bar for sustainable urban living in the greater GTA comes as no surprise from Davies Smith Developments, who over the past decade has won 34 awards for buildings that exude superior quality and design. “Ironstone is a beacon for the future,” says Chalmers. “A modern take on sustainable condo living that brings urban sophistication to uptown Burlington.”
