We recently had the opportunity to talk with Dora Car of Gordana Car Interior Design about the stunning model suite they designed for ADI Development Group’s LINK Condos + Towns.

Connecting with nature at LINK

When you look at the architecture at LINK, there’s just something different about it. There’s nothing like it in Burlington, and the location on Bronte Creek makes it even more special. So, it’s no surprise that Car and her team tapped into the natural/modern complexity of LINK to come up with the perfect design for the model suite.

Car explained that they used the floor-to-ceiling windows to accentuate the link (pun intended) between the modern architecture and natural surroundings. Car used a few oversized elements, such as mid-century architectural chairs to create a bold look, attracting the eye to the subtle use of natural wood and organic textured materials.

Living at LINK

“What I really like about LINK is that it targets a diverse demographic. You can see a couple living here and entertaining, and it also suits a small family,” says Car. “The floorplans work so well. Each room flows into the other. You don’t feel like you’re in a condo, you feel like you’re in your home.”

What really stood out for Car is that the space wasn’t a cookie-cutter design. She had the opportunity to get creative, exploring minimalist designs, organic finishes, and natural tones to create an atmosphere that truly speaks to what LINK is all about: A contemporary lifestyle, in touch with nature.

When asked to describe LINK in just one word, Car said “iconic.” We couldn’t agree more. Developing a residential project like LINK on Bronte Creek in Burlington will change the neighbourhood forever, setting a new standard of living higher than ever before.
