Intercity Realty Inc., Brokerage Teams Up With the Women’s Centre of York Region

Intercity Realty Inc., Brokerage and the Women’s Centre of York Region invited the community to visit seven beautiful homes on a self-guided tour for the inaugural King/Vaughan Christmas Home Tour, which was generously sponsored by Royal Pine Homes.

Local florists, designers and realtors joined in to host a fun-packed charity event featuring a magnificent display of homes decked in their holiday best for all to enjoy. To round out the event, guests were treated to a holiday shopping boutique where unique gift items were available for purchase.

Intercity’s Director of Marketing, Alda Neves Dubé, said, “This event is just the start of great things to come. By joining forces with community-like minded partners, we are proud to give back and help enrich the lives of many people here in York Region.”

“Through hard work and support, this event will make a lasting impact on the surrounding community. Together, we can help raise much needed funds for the Women’s Centre of York Region to improve the quality of life of these women,” Dubé added.

Each designer was given the challenge to come up with a holiday theme, based on the décor and style of the home. From traditional, to ultra-modern, to country, the homes glittered at night and dazzled during the day with layers of colour and festive décor.

Some of the comments made by tour guests included, “the homes were very warm and inviting” … “I loved the decorating ideas”...and “I think the event showcased King and Vaughan’s different home styles beautifully.”

The Women’s Centre of York Region is dedicated to providing programs, counseling and support services to women who have been affected by abuse or financial challenges.
