The new home investment process has many steps. Initially, one must choose their home site and design, complete an agreement of purchase and sale, firm up on this agreement, attend multiple inspections as the construction of the home progresses and lastly the closing date arrives!
While the process of purchasing a home is exciting, the speed at which it takes place can sometimes be demanding. The colours selection appointment however, is a time for the homeowner to relax and relish in the Design Studio surroundings while they choose selections that say something about their personality and lifestyle. Typically, at a Design Studio Appointment, the Design Consultant will review the construction drawings with the client to ensure accuracy prior to construction commencing. Following this the purchaser will make a complete selection of exterior (if applicable) and interior features and finishes for their new home. Flooring, cabinetry, countertops railings and faucets are a few of the items that may be chosen. At this appointment, dependent on budget, the options are endless. The homebuyers are often encouraged to bring items with them that will inspire the selections process. Magazine clippings, Pinterest boards and fabric samples are all ways to ensure that one’s tastes and experiences become a element of their newly purchased home!
