Here are the top 5 cities with the most new low-rise sales
By Lucas on Sep 12, 2016
The latest report from Trimart Research Corporation lists the top five cities with the most new low-rise sales across the Total Market Area (TMA). As expected, first place is taken by Brampton with 3,391 sales this year. Milton is in second with 998 sales, followed by Oakville with 654. Whitby is following closely with 638 sales, and Pickering is in fifth with 568.
It’s not really surprising to see Brampton, Milton, and Oakville in the top three, and when you think about the dwindling supply of new low-rise homes in the GTA, Whitby and Pickering aren’t shockers either. More homebuyers are starting to look to markets on the outskirts of the GTA more a wider selection of homes and more affordable prices.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Summerlyn Village by Great Gulf
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Summerlyn Village, a new home community in Bradford by Great Gulf Homes. This community saw 42 sales last month and there’s a new release coming soon. The 36’ and 40’ detached homes range from 1,475 to 3,270 square feet.
Chelsea by Aspen Ridge Homes
Taking the second spot with 17 sales last month is Chelsea, a townhome community in Maple by Aspen Ridge Homes. Cleave View by Aspen Ridge Homes
