Head to Paris for the Grand Opening of Village on the Grand!

Commonly referred to as “the prettiest town in Canada,” Paris, Ontario might be where you find your dream home; especially with Kingwood Homes hosting the grand opening of Village on the Grand on April 5!
We recently caught up with Jeff Wilson, owner of Kingwood Homes, to learn more about their first Paris community.
Village on the Grand
Village on the Grand is a new freehold townhome community in the heart of downtown Paris. The homes range from 1,362 to 2,000 square feet and are available in three collections: The Willow Collection, The River Collection, and The Courtyard Collection. If you’re wondering if the homes in The River Collection back onto the Grand River, the answer is yes, yes they do.
The main floors of the townhomes feature high quality hardwood flooring and 9’ ceilings. Many of the homes also feature two-car garages. Each home of The River Collection offers a spacious balcony off the master bedroom, which will overlook the water.
Village on the Grand will complement its stunning natural surroundings with professionally planned landscaping throughout the community. Wilson explained that Kingwood Homes is creating a low-maintenance community by making it freehold, so all the landscaping will be maintained by a condo corporation; all you’ll have to do is shovel your driveway in the winter!
Buying a new home in Paris
“We’re building a village within a village,” said Wilson. “It’s [Village on the Grand] on a beautiful, quiet main street, a minute’s walk from downtown.”
Even if you don’t plan on moving to Paris, we recommend visiting its downtown. The streets are lined with beautiful 19th century architecture, quaint specialty shops, cafes, and restaurants. There are even schools, big banks, and a public library nearby.
What we really love about Paris is that it’s bordered by many other great towns and cities. Hamilton, Guelph, and Kitchener are all within a short drive, and even downtown Toronto and Niagara Falls is close enough for a day trip.

Grand opening of Village on the Grand
On April 5, Kingwood Homes will be opening the Village on the Grand sales office doors for the official grand opening. Prices are starting in the low $200,000s, so you should get there early in the day to beat the crowd!
