On Sept. 17, we headed up to Kipling and Esther Lorrie Drive in Etobicoke to celebrate the Cloud9 groundbreaking with the Lash Group team.

Moving dirt at Cloud9

The sun was shining and there was a coolness in the air - it was a great afternoon for a groundbreaking. A large crowd of purchasers and team members made it out to celebrate.

It’s only a matter of time now before excavation begins and we start seeing progress at the Cloud9 site. When Cloud9 is complete, it will stand 12 storeys and boast a modern-contemporary design by E.I. Richmond Architects. There will be a total of 260 suites, with sizes ranging from 452 to 919 square feet. Floorplans range from one-bedroom to two-bedroom+den.

We also took the opportunity to explore the model suite at the Presentation Centre. The interiors have been designed by Tanner Hill and Associates, so expect some pretty amazing features and finishes, such as porcelain tiling, European style kitchen cabinetry, solid granite countertops, and frameless glass shower enclosures in the elegant bathrooms.

Cloud9 in Etobicoke

Located near Kipling and Rexdale in the heart of Etobicoke, Cloud9 will be surrounded by a wide array of incredibly convenient amenities. There are many shopping options nearby, parks for outdoor activities like soccer or a picnic, and many other entertainment options. Cloud9’s location will even accommodate smaller families with a number of great schools within walking distance.

Also, with the TTC practically at the front door and Highways 401 and 427 easily accessible, any destination in and around the Greater Toronto Area is always an option, either for work or play.
