Granite Homes launches new townhome community in South Guelph
By Lucas on Sep 03, 2015
Rolling off the success of Arkell Lofts in Guelph, Granite Homes has introduced their new townhome community, Gallery Towns, located next to Arkell Lofts at Gordon Street and Arkell Road.
Before we jump into the details of Gallery Towns, let’s talk about Arkell Lofts a little bit, since Gallery Towns will be neighbouring the condo. when Granite Homes launched Arkell Lofts, the modern design captured everyone’s attention and the unique floor plans attracted a diverse range of homebuyers. Recently, the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) announced that Arkell Lofts is nominated for two Awards of Distinction; Most Outstanding Attached Multi-Unit Home for the Monterey model, and the People’s Choice Award. Winners of the OHBA Awards of Distinction will be announced September 28, 2015.
At first glance of Gallery Towns, it’s obvious that Granite Homes is continuing with their sleek modern aesthetic, the look that made Arkell Lofts so memorable. The combination of red and charcoal brick will complement the existing low-rise homes in the South Guelph area, and it’s the flat roofs, geometric windows, and minimal detailing that will make passersby take a second look.
All of the floor plans at Gallery Towns will be larger than 2,000 square feet, with options available, like an extra parking space. The units have a basement, ground floor, main floor, and upper floor (if this sounds like a lot of walking up and down stairs, there is an elevator option available). There is plenty of outdoor space with each unit since they come with a covered front porch at the front of the home on the main floor and a deck at the back of the home. The ground floors will also have walk-outs to the backyard. The outdoors and interiors will blend almost seamlessly thanks to the large windows at the front and back of the homes, which will allow an abundance of natural sunlight to fill the living spaces throughout the day.
