Geranium Homes Cuts the Ribbon at PACE on MAIN in Stouffville

Recently, Geranium Homes celebrated the official ribbon-cutting of their very first mid-rise condo development, PACE on MAIN in Stouffville.Mayor Wayne Emmerson, community members, and other dignitaries were in attendance to announce the beginning of preconstruction sales for a residential building that will surely make a huge impact on Stouffville’s quaint downtown.PACE on MAIN is comprised of just 67 suites, and one-third of them have sold already. The suites range from one-bedrooms to two-bedroom+dens, spanning from 650 to 1,129 square feet. A few of the high quality features and finishes include 9’ ceilings, durable engineered laminate flooring, porcelain and ceramic tile, granite countertops, stainless steel appliance packages, and sleek quartz countertops in the bathrooms. The suites also have ample storage space and large balconies (all features as per plan). The celebration was held in the Sales Centre - via Geranium Homes“PACE on MAIN represents a significant investment in the downtown. The building’s architecture reflects elements from various iconic buildings and defines a new character for this stretch of Main St.,” said Geranium Corporation’s Executive Vice-President Cheryl Shindruk.The five-storey condo designed by architecture firm Sweeney &Co. will feature unique window treatments and a brick and stone exterior that will complement the historic architecture along Stouffville’s Main Street.Geranium and the architects designed what they are calling the Main Street Lounge, which is a private space for residents with seating, fireplaces, a kitchen with a bar, and a billiards table. The Main Street Lounge also provides access to a landscaped outdoor terrace that has barbecues and dining areas. To ensure that PACE on MAIN contributes to Stouffville’s vibrant downtown the new ground floor space fronting Main will house PACE Credit Union, which currently operates on a portion of the site.The amenities of downtown StouffvilleIf you want to live in Stouffville, but still be within walking distance of the most that the town has to offer, then PACE on MAIN is where you need to be. Cafes, shops, and restaurants line the streets. Whether you are in the mood for some seafood, or Italian, or classic diner fare, it will all be only a few steps away.There are a few suites at PACE on MAIN that are spacious enough to accommodate a small family, so safe and easy access to a selection of schools is very important. Summitview Public School is just down the street, and St. Mark Catholic Elementary and Glad Park Public are also nearby.
