Georgian International’s Endless Summer Social was a huge success!

To wrap up summer, Georgian International recently hosted their annual Endless Summer Social in Horseshoe at the Braestone Estates Farm.
The Endless Summer Social is one of Simcoe County’s largest private events, and it’s all in an effort to raise $50,000 for Mariposa House Hospice. Georgian International has committed to donating $10,000 a year over five years.
More than 500 people attended the event, including Jamie Massie, Georgian International’s President and CEO, Township of Oro-Medonte Mayor Harry Hughes, and Mariposa House Hospice Board of Director David Carson.

Attendees enjoyed a complimentary barbecue dinner, mingled with friends, family and neighbours while live music played, and there were outdoor games, including “Horseshoes for Hospice.” The evening was capped off with a huge fireworks show!
Mariposa House Hospice will use the funds towards their new residential facility to serve Orillia and the surrounding area. The residence “will allow people living their final days and their families be in an environment that is peaceful, comfortable and meaningful. It will be staffed by a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers,” according to a release about the event.
Georgian International’s Braestone community won Best New Home Community in Canada in 2016 at the Canadian Home Builders’ Association Awards. The 566-acre master-planned community is a stunning place to call home with 60% of the land dedicated to nature preservation.
Braestone’s amenities are referred to as “Remarkables,” and include things like a pond, Nordic skiing, maple sugar tapping, orchard and berry picking, and much more!
We recently heard that Georgian International will be releasing new architectural models soon, and we may get a closer look this fall. So stay tuned, we’ll hopefully have a better idea of the new Braestone models in the coming weeks!
