Gallery Condos + Lofts in Burlington now under construction!

We recently had the pleasure of joining the Carriage Gate team in celebrating the official groundbreaking of Gallery Condos + Lofts in downtown Burlington!  

Nick Carnicelli, President of Carriage Gate and President of Hamilton-Halton Home Builders' Association, was joined by Parm Gill, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, MPP Jane McKenna, Michael Collins-Williams Director of Policy of Ontario Home Builders Association, as well as invited guests and excited Gallery Condos + Lofts purchasers. 

“We greatly appreciate the support of the provincial government, it’s very refreshing to finally work with a government that supports our industry and understands the challenges that we face in trying to bring development projects forward and create much needed housing,” announced Carnicelli. “We are strong supporters of the housing action plan recently introduced by the provincial government, and we believe this project is a wonderful example of development done right.”

“For over 30 years, Carriage Gate has taken immense pride in our projects,” Carnicelli added. “We are very excited that Gallery Condos + Lofts will play a key role in the revitalization of downtown Burlington. Although it may seem hard to believe, this project, Gallery Condos + Lofts, is the first condominium project on Brant St. in downtown Burlington in almost 20 years.”

The 156-unit condo will rise 22 storeys from a four-storey podium, which will feature a cutaway corner, creating a dynamic and engaging streetscape. The rooftop will feature barbecues and fireplaces where residents can lounge and take in the views. Other building amenities include a fitness facility with yoga studio, an indoor pool, and a multi-purpose room with bar and dining area. 

Carnicelli also took the opportunity to announce that Gallery Condos + Lofts will be the new head office for Carriage Gate! You know a builder is proud of a development and confident in its premium quality when they also decide to call the building home.
