From $333,000 to $3 Million at AQUAVISTA in Toronto

Recently, Tridel released the floorplans and pricing for the highly anticipated second phase of the Bayside Toronto master-plan, AQUAVISTA. What we love about the condo, aside from its unique design, is the wide range of suites available. With a great selection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, ranging from around 500 to more than 3,700 square feet, the residence will surely have a great mix of people, making for a well rounded community.
The suites are divided into two collections: The Vista Suites and the Signature & Penthouse Collection. To give you an idea of how accommodating AQUAVISTA is to a variety of homebuyers, we’ll highlight the smallest, lowest priced unit along side the largest penthouse.
The 1D is the smallest unit in the whole building, but it’s still 521 square feet and has additional balcony space! It’s not uncommon to find suites ranging from 300 to 400 in today’s downtown condos, but that’s not the approach Tridel took. We think it’s a smart move for this location for the condo to have fewer suites to allow for more spacious living areas. Waterside living is meant to be boutique and resort style, so it makes more sense to create a more intimate environment. According to Tridel, the maintenance for 1D will cost $328/month and taxes will equal around $201/month. The 1D is available for a very affordable $333,000 - not bad for a one-bedroom on the water in Toronto’s latest and greatest master-planned community.

The PH9 is the largest suite at AQUAVISTA. It is a two-storey penthouse measuring 3,771 square feet and is priced at $3,560,000. Even though this suite is very large, there are still only three bedrooms, which is another smart move by Tridel because now there is more space for the living areas. At 3,771 square feet, a fourth bedroom could obviously be incorporated into the floorplan, but the truth is, it just wouldn’t sell. Developers already have a difficult time selling three-bedroom condo suites. Tridel estimates that the maintenance fees for the PH9 will come to around $2,375/month and the taxes would be about $2,145/month. Yes, this suite costs much more than the one mentioned above, but remember, there is a whole spectrum of incredible floorplans spanning between these two!

Some of the inspiring interior features and finishes at AQUAVISTA include 9’ and 10’ ceilings, quality engineered plank laminate flooring, granite or quartz surfaces in the gourmet kitchens, European appliances, and contemporary cabinetry. Also, AQUAVISTA is located in an area being serviced by Beanfield Metroconnect, which means the residents will have access to the fastest Internet connection speeds in the country! Whether you’re a gamer, film buff, or work from home (or maybe all of the above), you’ll be relying on the best Wi-Fi around. Don’t believe it? Because of Waterfront Toronto and Beanfield, Toronto was awarded the most Intelligent Community of the Year 2014 by the Intelligent Community Forum, the authority on global incorporation of broadband technologies.

We can’t forget about the amenities at AQUAVISTA. Health and fitness focused amenities take precedent at this waterfront condo. The fitness centre features state-of-the-art equipment and there are designated areas for spinning and practicing yoga. There are also saunas, his and hers change rooms, and a private theatre.
The second level of amenities is where things get exciting. This is where you will find the billiards room, party room and catering kitchen, and lounge. This is also where the expansive outdoor terrace is located, which features an infinity pool looking out over Lake Ontario, a fireside lounge, a sundeck lounge, and dining areas. We feel pretty safe saying that AQUAVISTA’s terrace will definitely be one of the best in the city once it is built!
