Fresh Towns in Ottawa now under construction!

Recently, Greatwise Developments, members of the community, special guests, and purchasers gathered to celebrate the official groundbreaking of Fresh Towns in Ottawa!

We’ve been following this development since it opened in the tail end of last year, so it’s amazing to see that it’s already under construction. Townhomes with rooftop terraces are rare in Ottawa, so we think that was and has been a huge draw for the project.

The homes in the Signature Collection feature a traditional backyard in addition to a rooftop terrace, so you get twice the outdoor space! Other features include a study and powder room on the main floor, open-concept layouts, and two or three bedrooms.

There are two other collections at Fresh Towns; Contemporary and Rooftop. The Contemporary models have a backyard while the Rooftop designs have expansive rooftop terraces.

The available homes range from 1,283 to 1,745 square feet with prices starting in the upper $300,000s and reaching the low $500,000s.

It’s designs, sizes, and prices like these that have attracted some Greater Toronto Area (GTA) buyers to Ottawa. In the GTA, the average price for a new single-family home is above $1 million. Even condo units, including condo townhomes, average well above $700,000. This is unaffordable for the majority of first-time buyers.
