Fieldgate sees huge lineup at Blue Sky in Stouffville

A couple weeks ago, Newinhomes.com attended the opening of Fieldgate Homes’ Cobblestones South in West Brampton. We called the successful opening the beginning of the busy fall market. With another new opening scheduled the following weekend at Blue Sky in Stouffville, we had to check in on Fieldgate again to see if the opening was just as successful.
Spoiler alert: It was.

In fact, we think it’s pretty safe to say that even more people came out for the Stouffville opening. Fieldgate had a barbecue going for when people started arriving, serving up hot dogs and burgers. It was a really humid day, but eager buyers were lining up under the brutal sun!
We arrived a few minutes before Fieldgate opened the doors and there was already a long line. As the first hour passed, cars continued to roll into the parking lot and the line grew even more.
When we stepped into the sales office, most people were crowded around the site table, some were browsing the home models on the wall, and there were already a couple groups seated and writing deals.
The new released featured 36’ and 40’ detached homes, ranging up to 3,400 square feet. Most of the plans were four-bedrooms, and there were some three-bedroom and five-bedroom options too.
We noticed a few small children and strollers in line and in the sales office, so it’s great to see that families were arriving together to purchase a new home. This is a sign that many of the buyers are end-users planning on moving into the community.
We can definitely see why Blue Sky attracted such a large crowd. There are already 1,300 families calling Blue Sky home, so the community’s overall success is proven.
Plus, the location at 9th Line and Millard is ideal. It’s just minutes from Main St. where there are grocery stores, shops, restaurants, banks, and other convenient amenities. There are also many schools and parks in the neighbourhood.
Blue Sky is a great community for people who work downtown Toronto because the Stouffville GO Station is only minutes away. You can live in a quiet community without living too far from the opportunities in Canada’s largest urban centre.
