As first time participants, the team members trained hard for this challenging, two-day adventure, traveling 180-miles across the scenic terrain of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. The ride ended at the Camp Simcha grounds where the not-for-profit organization has set up a camp dedicated to giving the children an ultimate summer camp experience.

Beginning with just one program in 1987, Chai Lifeline is now a community that embraces families with children who are born with life-threatening illnesses. Providing counseling for every member of the family, Chai Lifeline prides themselves on developing programs that connect sufferers with volunteers who are willing to help in any way possible. Reinforcing stability into the children’s lives while facilitating a normal childhood, they offer tutoring, family retreats, special sibling programs, information, peer and professional support and two incredible summer camp programs at Camp Simcha.

Developing quickly into the successful Canadian year-round support service it is today, Chai Lifeline Canada is an affiliate of Chai Lifeline International that not only has the ability to access a worldwide network of programs and services but has become an organization that has garnered the support and acclaim of doctors, therapists, community leaders and of course, the folks at Madison Homes and Fieldgate Homes. Fieldgate’s Jack Eisenberger raised over $370,000 and Madison’s Miguel Singer raised over $150,000! With such an outstanding first year display from this strong partnership, we’re excited to see this wonderful team surpass their goals again next year!
