Fairgate Homes’ Turkey Giveaway in Sunderland
By Lucas on Dec 10, 2012
It isn't every weekend that hundreds of people congregate in Sunderland for an event like this. The intimate, quiet village rarely hits the news, but this weekend, it was abuzz with energy, all due to one local developer.
Fairgate Homes was looking to do something a little different to stand out. Opening a sales centre, running some ads, and waiting for the customers to come running is the normal formula, but Fairgate Homes changed it up, and everyone took notice!
To give back to the community, and show thanks for the initial success they have seen at their Fairfield Village community, Fairgate gave away 200 turkeys to the first 200 people to visit the Fairfield Village sales centre, last weekend.
What started out as a small gesture turned out to be a heck of a story. Once word got out about the giveaway, Sunderland Mayor, Terry Clayton, decided to take part in the event. Locals were lining up early to receive a turkey, and also to check out the model suite for Fairfield Village. The tastefully designed home features elegant oak staircases, oversized walk-in closets, and hardwood throughout the living areas.
Fairgate Homes is a developer who focuses on four cornerstones when building new homes: “Design, Craftsmanship, Service and Experience.” Fairgate Homes’ communities offer innovative designs and styles, built with a close attention to detail. With over 25 years of experience, Fairgate Homes has earned a reputation as one of the leaders in the new home industry, lead by the motto “Where better built is standard.”
Although you may have missed out on all the turkeys, the team at Fairgate Homes welcomes you down to their Fairfield Village community to check out their designs, and find out what life in Sunderland is all about!
