Fabulous by Design at HighPark Condominiums

The Daniels Corporation is committed to building strong relationships with every development. They want to know who you are, and possibly more importantly, they want you to build relationships with your future neighbours. In order to accomplish this, Daniels is coordinating a series of informative events; the first being Fabulous by Design, which was a huge success.
Daniels invited purchasers of HighPark Condominiums to a catered meet and greet/info session at Grenadier Cafe in the heart of High Park in Toronto. Speakers included Senior Vice President of Daniels Tom Dutton, Principal of Diamond Schmitt Architects Donald Schmitt, and Melandro Quilatan and Michelle Cipolla of Tomas Pearce Interior Design.
The event allowed purchasers to meet some of their future neighbours, as well as learn more about the ideas behind the interior and exterior design choices at HighPark.
Donald Schmitt was the first speaker to take the podium. He discussed how the surrounding environment influenced the final design of HighPark. For example, the way the floors terrace is to prevent shading on neighbouring homes, and all the terrace space is used to connect residents with the stunning nature of High Park, which is right across the street.
Schmitt also mentioned that Daniels held a public art competition for HighPark’s outdoor courtyard. Schmitt explained that there will be a “continuously changing panorama of views in the park happening within the open courtyard, with bench elements and small animal sculptures.”
Melandro Quilatan and Michelle Cipolla discussed the interior design. Quilatan eagerly listed off a number of great amenities that HighPark residents will have access to: “Typically, any condo will have a lobby, a rec room, and if you’re lucky you get a gym. Well, hold on to your seats. You have a two-storey lobby, you have a port cochere, you got gallery halls with commissioned art and sculptures, you have a pet spaw, you have a 1,000 square foot bike rest/garage, a bike detailing area, a fitness reception, a two-storey rock climbing wall, a weight room, a men’s spa, a women’s spa, you have a theatre, a potting and gardening room, a cardio room, indoor yoga, outdoor yoga, a party/kitchen/dining area, billiards, a bar lounge, fireplace lounge, outdoor dining and barbecues, community gardening, firepits, and everything else including many kitchen sinks.” He may have listed even more, but he was going too fast to keep up!
Near the end of the evening, Tom Dutton announced a new referral incentive. If you are a purchaser at HighPark and you refer a friend or family member, upon the closing of both units you will receive a referral fee of $5,000...no strings attached!
