Easton's Group Planning their Second Downtown Toronto Condo

In the past, we have discussed the growing relationship between condominium developers and hotels. With the lack of affordable, available land in the downtown Toronto core, hotels, offices, and other buildings are being scooped up to feed the continued demand for downtown condo living.
Steve Gupta planning his next Toronto project
When it comes to hotel and condominium developments, one name that instantly comes to mind is Steve Gupta, the President and CEO of the Easton's Group of Hotels, the developer behind King Blue Condos. Gupta is one of the leaders in hotel development in Ontario, and is starting to grow his condominium portfolio as well. While he continues to work on the recently opened King Blue Condos, he is also planning his next downtown Toronto launch.
200 Dundas St. East set for redevelopment
200 Dundas St. East, currently a Garden Hilton Inn, is expected to be home to Easton's Group next high-rise project. The team at Easton's has been working with the City over the past year to bring what is expected to be a high end project to Dundas St. The plan calls for a mixed-use development, featuring 748 new suites. An official rendering has not been released, but we do know that Easton's has partnered with award-winning firm Page+Steele Architects to design the tower.
