The Easton’s Group of Hotels recently unveiled the results of a $10 million renovation at The Westin Toronto Airport hotel. Dr. Steve Gupta – Chair, The Gupta Group / The Easton’s Group of Hotels; Reetu Gupta – COO, The Gupta Group / The Easton’s Group of Hotels; and Michael L. Jackson – Senior VP Operations, The Easton’s Group of Hotels were in attendance, as well as local councillors and members of the community.
The major renovation included an update to all the guestrooms and suites, meeting spaces, lobby, and two on-site restaurants; Crosswinds Restaurant & Bar and Atmosphere Restaurant.
“We are very proud of The Westin Toronto Airport’s transformation,” said Steve Gupta. “While many guests may have stayed with us in the past, now is a great time to experience the revitalized experience. This impressive project provides our guests with amenities and offerings that will appeal to every aspect of their experience with us, from business to leisure and everything in between.”
The overall design was inspired by the nearby river and surrounding natural beauty, portraying a juxtaposition of structure and fluidity, making The Westin Toronto Airport a place of solace after a long plane ride.
The guestrooms and suites feature the world renowned Heavenly Bed® and Heavenly Bath® experience, special light fixtures, and USB ports for convenient device charging. Comfort and tranquility are prioritized in all of the rooms.
The new modern lobby is inviting and sophisticated, featuring the ‘Westin Haven’ community work table with computers and printers, accommodating all personal and business needs. There is 20,000 square feet of new meeting spaces, which are customizable for any event, large or small.
“Whether you’re visiting for work or for play, The Westin Toronto Airport is at the very centre of where you want to be,” said General Manager, Candida Azeved. “No matter how long you stay with us, we provide a true sense of where you are.”
Easton’s Group of Hotels has become a giant in the hospitality industry, with Hilton, Marriott and Holiday Inn brand hotels in many locations, including downtown Toronto, Markham, Montréal, Peterborough, Sudbury, and Thunder Bay.
