On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, Green Lotus hosted their second “Donate & Learn Workshop” at the YWCA Toronto Headquarters. And for the second time, our team at the New Home Buyers Network was a proud sponsor!

The Donate & Learn Workshop

Online marketing experts from ABC News, Google Canada, and Green Lotus presented to a sold-out crowd at the YWCA Toronto Headquarters. More than 200 people showed up for the Donate & Learn Workshop, and more than $4,000 was raised for the YWCA Girls’ Centre. Combined, over the past two Workshops, Green Lotus has raised more than $8,000 for YWCA Toronto (100% of the proceeds were donated).

Not only did attendees receive some helpful tips from some of the industry’s best, but there was also plenty of time to socialize and network. Business cards were exchanged, hands were shook, and meetings were set up. We are honoured to have been a part of an event that donated to a great cause and also spurred the creative juices of so many entrepreneurs.

YWCA Toronto Girls’ Centre

The Girls’ Centre at YWCA Toronto provides a safe and judgement-free environment for girls aged nine to 18 to explore their creativity and interests through a variety of great programs. The Girls’ Centre is also a good place to make new friends and become more socially active. Overall, the Girls’ Centre promotes a healthy lifestyle for young girls in Toronto.

One hundred per cent of the more than $4,000 raised will go towards funding the different programs currently being offered.
