Do You Want to be the First to See the Minto Westside Floor Plans?

Without a doubt, Toronto is becoming more accepting of high-rise towers, even when they are around 80 storeys tall. We think it’s fantastic that Toronto is gradually getting taller, but there are definitely many people who want to live the condo lifestyle in downtown Toronto without living 1,000 feet in the air. Luckily, there are many boutique and mid-rise condo options coming to Toronto, one of which we’re extremely excited about; we’re talking about Minto Westside by The Minto Group.
This Saturday, April 11, Minto is hosting a VIP Sales Centre Preview event from 12 pm to 5 pm. There will be complimentary food and drink from a few of Toronto's finest food trucks, some fun activities, and there will even be a DJ to liven things up.
The VIP Sales Centre Preview will be the first time the sales centre has opened to prospective purchasers and it will also serve as the unveiling of the floor plans. We haven’t even seen the plans yet! All we know (and all you need to know to get you excited about the condo development) is that prices are starting in the low $200,000s, which is a great price for the neighbourhood.
Before we get into how great the neighbourhood at Front and Bathurst is, let’s take a look at the building itself. Designed by Wallman Architects, Minto Westside will feature two buildings reaching 18 and 20 storeys. The design of the cube-like facade pays tribute to Toronto’s warehouse districts and will also stand out on the city’s skyline even though it’s not the tallest building around.
While the floor plans remain a mystery until April 11, we do know what kind of interior features and finishes you can expect. The suites at Minto Westside will offer 9’ and 10’ ceilings, and contemporary European-inspired kitchens with Caesarstone countertops and built-in appliances with fully integrated designer cabinetry. There will also be engineered laminate flooring, deep soaker tubs in the master ensuites, and all the two-bedroom plans will have a second bathroom.
With a number of green building awards from BILD, EnerQuality, and the Canada Green Building Council, you can also expect Minto to utilize a wide range of sustainable systems and features at Minto Westside. Minto is seeking LEED Certification for Minto Westside and will include a variety of energy and water efficient features such as ENERGY STAR appliances, low flow toilets, low VOC paints, and a rainwater harvesting system for building water use.

Minto Westside at Front and Bathurst
The only way to discuss the Front and Bathurst area is by highlighting all the amazing districts surrounding it. To the south, you have Toronto’s quickly transforming waterfront where you can exercise, shop, or dine by the lake. To the east you have the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre and a large collection of bars and restaurants.
On the west side, the historic Fort York district provides plenty of green space and some incredible architecture. Then just a few more minutes west, Liberty Village offers its own unique amenities, such as West Elm and EQ3 furniture stores. Then, to the north, there are the King West and West Queen West neighbourhoods where the shopping is endless, the cafes and restaurants are always lively, and the people watching is ideal.
Minto Westside also has its own amazing amenities!
We can’t forget to mention the fact that Minto Westside is located on the Bathurst streetcar line and is within walking distance to the 24-hour King streetcar and Queen streetcar. The Bathurst car can take you all the way to Bloor, while King and Queen are your transit answers to east and west travel, making all of Toronto only a few steps away from Minto Westside.
