DIAM Developments is launching new townhomes in Innisfil
By Lucas on Feb 22, 2017
We recently received some more information about DIAM Developments’ Radiance community, a new modern townhome project in Innisfil that will be launching this spring. These new townhomes in Innisfil are highly anticipated and interest is already pouring in online.
Designed by onespacearchitecture, the Radiance townhomes range from three- to five-bedrooms, there are some models with two-car garages, and they all feature innovative flex space on the main floors. These flex spaces can be used for anything; a family room, an art studio, games room, kid’s area, or a music room, just to list a few possibilities.
The open-concept main floor is designed for entertaining. The great room, kitchen, and breakfast area are all open and connected, and there is sliding door access to the backyard deck. So no matter what the weather is like, you can host a big get-together with friends, family, and neighbours.
With a history in luxury home building, you can expect high-end features and finishes from DIAM Developments. They are known for having a meticulous eye for detail for both the quality of the finishes and the craftsmanship.
DIAM Developments is emphasizing the use of outdoor space at Radiance. The townhomes feature sunrise decks, sunshine terraces, and sunset balconies. Based on the names, the design and style are clearly inspired the orientation of the space.
We like that DIAM Developments has placed a lot of importance on the outdoor space because Innisfil has a lot to offer in the way of natural surroundings. Lake Simcoe is only five minutes away; it’s a straight shot right across 7th Line, and then you have access to 43 kilometres of shoreline! There is also a nine kilometre stretch of Trans Canada Trail nearby.

Located at Webster Boulevard and 7th Line, Radiance is surrounded by a wealth of amenities, including a new elementary school with a daycare that’s just one block away. There are also secondary schools in the area, so the community is an ideal spot to plant firm roots. Getting around Innisfil and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is a breeze thanks to easy access to Highway 400, the Barrie South GO Station is just 10 minutes away, and there’s a new GO Station in the works!
“Building in Innisfil makes sense when you look at home prices, which are 30% to 40% lower than they are for similar product in Markham and Richmond Hill,” says Moninder Khudal, President and CEO, DIAM Developments. “With the GO Station so close by, using public transit is very convenient. Radiance is ideal for first-time buyers and young families looking for affordable townhomes.”
As of the end of 2016, the average price for a new low-rise home in the GTA was $995,116, which is unaffordable for many couples looking to move up into a family home. With prices starting in the mid $400,000s, Radiance is an amazing option just outside of the GTA for move-up buyers to start a family. We won’t be surprised if some couples plan to sell their condo in downtown Toronto to move up to Innisfil.
When DIAM Developments launched their now sold out On The Danforth condo project in Toronto, they were ahead of the curve. The Danforth and Woodbine area is now on the upswing so purchasers at On The Danforth got in just in time. With inventory low and prices up in the GTA, more families are looking at Innisfil for a wider selection of home models at more affordable prices.
