December: The Best of 2013

What do you associate with December? Most people have the holidays in mind or they’re panicking about what their plans are going to be for New Year’s Eve. This month, instead of looking forward, we’re going to focus on some homebuilding milestones of 2013!
It was a really busy year; the housing market experienced some highs and lows, a number of developments were completed, many were launched, and annual awards honoured some of the year’s best.
The homebuilding industry has made new strides in sustainable building practices and strategies, new plans have been set in motion to protect Toronto’s rich heritage, and the Official Plan is giving everyone a better idea of how the city will grow over the next decade.
There’s no question, 2013 was a big year for our industry and there’s a lot to be proud of. We’re really looking forward to diving into the past and digging up some gems.
So many great things happened this year that we are bound to miss something. That’s why we are inviting you to remind us of some of your fondest homebuilding memories of 2013, whether you’re a developer that launched a project, completed one, or sold out in record time, or someone that purchased their first new home.
